8. Mounting the Laser Guide to a tripod
The Laser Guide has a con-
nector thread of 1/4˝ UNC.
It will therefore fit on most
current tripods.

You will find the serial
number for your instrument
under the battery cover at
the bottom of the battery
case (see 2.2.).

Problem
When observing,
the field of view
periphery is
blurred (vignetting).
“---” appears in
the distance
measurement.
Battery symbol
in the display.
Cause
Eyecup position
should be adjusted
to consider use of
eyeglasses.
1. Target outside
of min/max ranging
perimeters.
2. Insufficient target
reflection level.
3. Strong outside
interference.
Battery charge level
is too low.
Remedy
Eyeglasse-wearers
should push the
eyecup in as far as it
will go. If not wearing
eyeglasses, extend
the eyecup fully.
See Chapter 3.
Range finding.
Approximately
100 more measure-
ments are possible.
Replace battery
(Section 2.2)
